The maintenance punt is a well established Avon design and supplied to the British Ministry of Defence for ship painting operations.
Inherently stable in use, with a low centre of gravity, the punt can fulfil a worthwhile role in the construction and maintenance of dams, jetties and water side installations as well as being used as a diving platform or temporary navigation mark.
Comprising a strong marine-ply work platform with non slip finish and two twin chamber buoyancy tubes, protected by heavy duty rubbing strakes, the punt will withstand the type of wear normally associated with commercial/maintenance use.

Pressure relief valves are fitted as standard, as are the lifting 'U' bolts and a 4 point sling, giving a craft that is ready to use with minimum delay. Supplied in a carrying valise the punt can also be fitted with an optional handrail.
